Gardner was the biggest flopper in the league last year and it wasn't even close

Any idea on the terms of the contract? I can't imagine Marquette is giving him near what Buzz was making or near the $3M reportedly offered to Shaka right?

I wonder which assistant gets to do all of Coach K's halftime interviews now

Well, I was apprehensive at first but Wojo won me over with the press conference. Not that it matters, but I'm happy. If he can manage to keep our 4 signed recruits, then I will be ecstatic.

Interesting hire. I wonder if he is good at inviting players like coach shisheffski, instead of really having to recruit. That is the only downfall I see out of all the Dook assistant hires out there. Good luck.

Good pick. I remember watching him at Duke and every time his name was mentioned people would boo. He reminded me of Rudy, small guy with a lot of heart. Chris Collins at Northwestern, now all we need is DePaul to pick up a Johnny Dawkins or Tommy Amaker and the Chicago-Milwaukee area will be set with Dukies!

Not an "impact" hire IMO but if he can keep the recruits, that will be a good sign. Hey Coach K, how bout a home and home with Marquette?

The heck with Buzz's entire class If he can at least keep this guy

or get this guy

I will consider him an impact hire right away. Otherwise the jury's out on him for a year or two in my book.

For the record, Steve Taylor Jr. was planning to transfer if Buzz stayed. Duane Wilson (PG of the future) and Jajuan Johnson implied they would have as well. There are rumblings that others were considering. I think a parting of ways with Buzz was probably best for everyone. I'm looking forward to the future with Wojo.
