Damn…for being up over 20 points and a Big East championship locked up as well as a top 10 ranking, Nova fans are loudly booing the refs and the Nova coaches are laughing at the refs. You already won the regular season title, you are top 10, and you are up by over 20 vs. G'Town. I just don't like to see that. Don't be spoiled. Relish it.

This was a Nova team picked 4th in the preseason without 1 vote in the preseason top 25. And now they are #6. You could make the case they are having a miracle season. It's like that show "My Super Sweet Sixteen" where spoiled kids cry because the Range Rover they got was red and not blue.

I'll give a compliment though: everyone on Nova can shoot. Everyone. I wonder how Jay finds these kids. Or if they come in raw then he must do a great job in practice. It's almost like pick your poison…pack in the paint and Nova will kick it out and rain 3's. Come up and play them on the 3 pt line and they will drive down low. I feel like every time Nova throws up a shot it has a very good chance of going in. I think their shot selection is a big part of this. They don't settle for contested shots, they make the extra 3rd or 4th pass to make sure their guy gets a clean look.

Excellent point. What makes Nova dangerous is that they have so many weapons.

It's not backhanded. It's just a legitimate thought. Your fans need to relax. Get pissed off when there's real reason to. Not when you go from unranked with 0 votes and picked 4th place to #6 and winning the regular season title. Just comes off as spoiled.

Regarding your second one I was under the impression Nova only wins games at the end by way of a lucky bounce here and a favorable call there. What gives on your change of thought of how they win? Nova is simply very good. They deserve their ranking.

They play extremely well together and are virtually seamless with their substitutions. They can shoot their way out of trouble or into comfortable leads they then manage with excellent defense. The Creighton outcomes were almost extraordinary, not because Creighton won or shouldn't have won both, especially in Philly, but because the Philly contest in particular saw lights-out shooting from Wragge, in particular. Beyond those conference games, Nova has simply been all business. Very impressive.
