Nothing silly about it if you are a Johnnies fan. My windows are lucky they are not shattered right now.

And the Johnnies escape with a one point double OT win... Good look at the end but MU could not convert. Exciting game to watch!

Your windows survived, as did your Johnnies. Good win on the road.

f--- it. Refs hate this team and so do the basketball gods. Ultimately it was our stupid rush inbound play that cost us the game, but the refs were every bit as responsible. 3 foul calls in 10 seconds letting Marquette play football down low while we can't even think about a player without getting called. We had this game wrapped up and tied with a bow. I'm done. I really am.

Marquette please just take the god damn game now that you don't even need…here it is on a silver platter brought to you courtesy of the refs and the giveaway with 8 seconds left. Just so, so tired of the same BS over and over. Guaranteed loss now because we never win in OT. The refs owe SJ an entire season of favoritism after what they have done today.

Announcers are shocked that the refs have it in for SJ. Not just me.

That might have been one of the hardest games to watch in my life. Never seen a basketball team at any level up by 6 with 11 seconds left lose the lead on a quick steal and a shot at the buzzer.

Make no mistake…SJ had this game tied up. It was ours to lose and we flirted till the end with doing it. Man, that was rough to watch. No offense to Marquette they are a great program much better than ours of late, but we needed this win much more. It was better for the conference if we want more bids. FS1 was saying the Big East might get 5-6 bids depending on how the tourney plays out. PC, SJ, Xavier, Nova, Creighton all have 20+ wins. Who said this conference sucked again? Five 20 win teams plus G'Town and Marquette who could easily be top 3 in the A-10.

Thank god. We finally got a close OT game we won. RPI 56 20-11 (10-8). Still have some work to do but there is no reason this team can't get in with 2 more wins. I still don't think we will, but at least we can now hang our hats on a 20 win season.

Honestly, they probably have a better shot than any team not named Villanova or Creighton at winning 2 games in the BET.

Good game Marquette, that was a thriller. We almost gave it away so many times because of missed free throws. Geez louise, wtf was going on there at the end of regulation then at the end of OT?

Go Johnnies, Beat X/Providence!
