It seems like Nova should be up by way more than they are (6). 4 missed dunks and 2-5 from the line? This game should be borderline out of hand by now, but Nova isn't converting the easy ones. Defensively, Nova was dominant until the final 2 minutes

Frustrating game to watch. As a Villanova fan, it feels like we're playing our C game right now and are blowing a lot of chances.

That 4th foul on Martin is big since Xavier will need to make threes to catch up.

With the exception of Christon, Xavier looks absolutely exhausted. Nova now up 51-36 and no sign of slowing down.

Nova was outplaying Xavier by a lot more than the score was showing for most of this game. A 15-point lead is more like it!

Wow, what a pace to this 2nd half! James Bell has just been unbelievable tonight. It looked to me like Xavier got worn down, and Nova kept getting better and better looks offensively. Credit to Xavier for never giving up - they fought until the end. Christon, Martin, and Stainbrook kept them hanging around. I really like this Xavier team/program.
