You keep saying this. How about going through the box scores and coming up with some data? Today VU had 32 free throws and Marquette had 31. Had Marquette not been fouling at the end of regulation and OT, MU would have had quite an advantage. The Creighton game, which admittedly is an outlier, was also pretty close to even with about 15 for VU and 13 for Creighton.

Officiating this year has been a mess everywhere.

The first game I see called consistently all year will be the first, period.

I hope you're not suggesting that the no-call on Desrosiers affected the outcome of the game. There are missed calls in every game, but this wasn't a missed call. It was a made call that was wrong, it was blatant, and it denied one team an undisputed win. That's outrageous.

What play was the no-call on Derosiers?

I was scratching my head wondering if Derosiers actually touched the ball on his "6th block" when Christon's lay up attempt rolled on top of the backboard. The replays I saw showed the ball going over Derosiers hand so I thought it should have been PC's ball. Maybe the refs had a different video but it looked clear to me.

Looked the same to me. Chose not to debate it so I could make the larger point about it not affecting the outcome and not being blatant, both of which were the case in the Villanova-Marquette game.

I thought Harris got T'd up or something... did they say Desrosiers tipped it...? Did I miss something controversial in the XU-PC game...? Or are people just pointing at PC for no reason...?

Just pointing at PC for no reason. The PC game has nothing to do with this thread which was about a blatantly bad call that affected the outcome of the game.

How were half time ceremonies for Stacom, Sonar, and Lis. Stacom still have the curly mop? LOL.
