What is interesting is that the self proclaimed "Greatest Conference in the History of the World" ACC has exactly two teams in the AP and two teams in the coaches poll. Cuse and Duke. The Big East has one in the AP and two in the Coaches.

It's pretty obvious why Xavier is getting so few votes. They have played one true road game (a win over Alabama), and three games at the battle for Atlantis. They lost all three games there. It's hard to give votes to a team that finished last in a tournament like that. If you ask me Xavier is now playing like a top 25 team but probably needed the rough stretch to come together as a team. Marquette will be a good test for X but I don't think we will know how good X is until after a few more road games especially their next road game against creighton
