Any X fans know what Frease is up to? Is he playing professionally somewhere or is he in the real world? Just curious because I always liked him as player

I actually think it would be funny if they played for a water fountain, similar to a football rivalry game.

I don't think it should be if Darin Archbold shows up that you should leave, I'd be far more worried about Maurice Brantley showing up.

Out of all the teams in the Big East, Xavier is definitely currently Butler's biggest rival, though there will likely be others that develop over time. I'd much rather have a friendly rivalry though, so hopefully with the exodus of Holloway and Lyons they can just have some hardnose kids that make me dislike them just because they may beat Butler, not because of all the extracurricular stuff they do on and off the court.

I admit, I forgot it was Frease.

Brantley simply retaliated, Archbold was clearly the thug. Just kidding, he was money against X a couple of times.

I like this rivalry

I love differences in regional language.

I was in Cape Cod and ordered a chocolate milk shake. The lady in the ice cream shop hands me a chocolate milk - milk with chocolate syrup mixed into it. I learned that I should have ordered a Frap to get the obvious ice cream included. A freakin Frap. Who calls such an elegant drink a Frap!

Xavier has won 10 of the last 13 against Butler, and 3 of the last 4.

I think X wins this one tomorrow. Muskies at the Cintas, playing Butler, look for them to come out with lots of energy. Hopefully they don't start 0-11 again, but I doubt they will.

I like Xavier's frontcourt to have a big day. X by 11.

I think Xavier and Butler are going to split tough, grind-it-out games, with the home team winning each time.

Thanks for posting the video clip of that wild finish to XU-BU in 2009. I was there, and I was salty.

The clock ruling is absolutely absurd. Basketball plays are all situational, and as the clock is winding down, the pressure to make a shot increases. I rule that Hayward would have been more likely to miss the shot with .2 on the clock compared to the incorrect reading of 1.8 or thereabouts. Maybe he would have felt that he didn't have enough time to get to the rim, and short armed a jump shot instead. The shot went in at the "theoretical buzzer", which as we know doesn't really exist.

Not only that, but when you watch the play, our big guy (Jason Love) gets body slammed to the floor on that last rebound. If that's a foul with 15 min to go in the game, call it with 3 seconds on the clock.

I'm still pissed about it. Although, ironically, I still cheer for Butler when we're not playing them. All of the contempt in my soul is reserved for the bearkitties.

In New England, what you wanted is sometimes called a milk shake (Vt), a frappe (Mass), or a cabinet (RI). I discovered the "cabinet" thing when I moved from Vermont to Rhode Island for grad school. My milk shake was simply flavored milk. Needless to say, I learned to order a cabinet in short order.
Xavier will surprise. Never count them out of the Dance.
