Creighton is is some Destin Florida tournament with Cincinnati and two other teams tba.

Have we ever been in an early season tournament that was truly top notch? Northern Iowa gets Louisville in the Battle 4 Atlantis last year but now we're going to this?

Jays will be replacing 4 starters next year including the most decorated player in school history. This would be a rebuilding year for pretty much every team so playing in a sort of weak holiday tournament makes sense. I wonder if there will even be TV though?

I hope so and my guess would be CBS Sports Network or Fox Sports 1. ESPN has plenty of hoops tournaments.

I know the Rainbow Classic that is going on right now has two spots open. Kind of a shitty field next year, Colorado, George Washington, Nebraska, Ohio, Wichita State and tournament host Hawai'i.

Officially announced:

Cincinnati, Creighton, Mississippi and Middle Tennessee State headline an eight-team field in the inaugural 2014 Emerald Coast Classic, presented by Global Sports.

North Carolina Central, Eastern Illinois, Northern Arizona and Southern are also competing in the tournament.

Tournament will be shown on CBS Sports Network.
