The thing about Providence is where they were/are projected to finish- their margin of error is so tiny that even losing 1-2 games they shouldn't lose because of the injury could be the difference between NCAA/NIT. I mean just in the Paradise Jam- the difference in OOC RPI between playing Morgan St and Northern Iowa/Loyola Marymouth/Marist and LaSalle/Maryland is huge.

I hear you, but I think people are going to be surprised at how many really good players Prov actually has. There are going to be serious battles for minutes even with Dunn out (hope not though).

Honestly, I think with Dunn most people were going to be very surprised by PC, both on this board and everywhere else.

Without Dunn, it really throws the team off and has people playing out of position on offense and defense. Cotton "manages" the PG spot when needed, he's not a PG and the offense really suffers when he is not coming off of screens and wearing opposing defenses down cutting all over the court.

Brilliant post Hall. Ryan A clearly "wasn't ready" when he led the team in minutes played and assists as a freshman. Did you see how much he "wasn't ready" when he dropped 32 in his BE debut or when he hit a clutch 3 at the buzzer which led to a W vs. Syracuse. In fact the BE coaches all agreed he "wasn't ready" when he finished 2nd in BE ROY voting last year. And when thinking of him as a player this year they thought he probably still "wasn't ready" so they just voted him to the preseason 2nd BE team. Which other players do you think aren't ready this year? McDermott? Semaj?

I'm a troll because I call out an idiotic statement that can not be backed with actual facts.

Hall either your pirate costume is starting to cut off the circulation to your brain or you simply are not very good at evaluating college talent. Case in point, you think that Ryan Arch "wasn't ready" yet Jay Wright and every other BE coach did not agree with that assessment. Good call on that one buddy.

Looks like we dodged a bullet! Dunn is day to day and Cooley is hoping to have home Friday!

Very good to hear. Might not play on Friday, but that's not a major concern. Getting healthy is.

Believe me, he will play. Can't have him out. Big East opener-Big East vs ACC, national audience on FS1's first Big East game. White out for the fans, World Series trophy going to be there, salute to the Boston Red Sox and the Pawtucket Red Sox, beer garden outside of the dunk, packed house-Raf in the house.
