Was hoping to come up to visit my friend in Omaha over the break and catch the game and now are completely screwed. Are there scalpers at the game? Is it still possible to get something? Christ Omaha, settle down.

I would suggest stubhub or ebay or something like that. You will be able to get tickets, it will be a premium though.

$240 bucks for upper deck tix? What is that, an NCAA Regional Final?

Why were you not able to get the min. required for each school???

And yes, there are tickets available outside right before game time if you want to go that way.

Not sure about this year, but for games that are sold out, they usually release "standing room" only tickets the day of the game but you might have to camp the night before which in the winter time in Omaha is probably not going to be fun.

Thanks for the responses to me question. I figured as much because they were the charter member of the Missouri Valley conference. I just didn't have any stats to back up my assumptions. Sounds like no matter what, they will always draw in the top half. If their winning watch out!

The Jays have built a monster in Omaha and it will continue. We have been drawing crazy numbers even with the MVC teams and not always very strong OOC games at home.

Now we have a major conf and the other 9 teams of the Big East coming to town and it will only go higher. (if that is possible)

Although if you listen to some Husker BB fans and Jealous Ex Conf members from the MVC, as soon as we lose a couple games and/or Doug graduates, everyone is going to go running out of the CenturyLink.

I think what will determine things is what the prices will be next year. It was 210 for a SEASON TICKET in much of the upper bowl. It was really a once-in-a-lifetime deal: face value seats were $15 for the worst games, $20 for conference games and Cal and Nebraska, and $30 per for Marquette and GTown. But you could get the whole season for about a 12 per average for every game.

Suffice to say that won't happen again. I could easily see that amount doubling, and if it does it wouldn't surprise me if we fell down to 12-13K in season ticket sales. I afforded 4 for this year but if it doubles, man I'd love to keep them (and move down some in the arena) but double would put some pressure on me via the wife.

CU's kind of ingrained itself into the town as a winter event the last 10 or 15 years. Demand will still be there, even if a few bandwagon types fall off. Prices might dictate more of that.

Yeah the Marquette Creighton game is one I have been planning to go to for awhile. Have not had much luck with tickets on my own yet. Got to see if I can talk my grandma who has been a creighton season ticket holder since they started the basketball program . Into giving me her extra ticket.

"Queen of victory, pray for us."

I don't know, but that's the email that Marquette sent out to Omaha alums two days ago (saying it was already sold out).

Nice to know there's a chance of getting tix right outside, but camping out? Ha, I'm not in college anymore.
