Hey, I think the new court and new logo both look great.
Congrats!

It's definitely going to be recognizable, and it's better (I think) than the simple script. I think it'll look really good on Fox Sports 1.

And the all wood court looks great too.

I like it better than the "Jays" script that was used. More modern. Sporting news story on the logo:

I must have to say the more I think about this new logo the more excited I get about having Creighton in the Big East. They really are doing everything they can to increase their status and are making improvements to absolutely everything to improve. I think its going to get harder for recruits to turn down Creighton.
Coach Al Mcguire:
"I like seashells and balloons, ribbons and medals, bare feet and wet grass."
"When I'm losing, they call me nuts. When I'm winning, they call me eccentric."
"Queen of victory, pray for us."

Personally I still probably like the old logos and Billy better. But I think the new ones will grow on me. I think the Creighton font with the BlueJay above it looks better than the BlueJay inside the C. But its really not about me. To recruits and a lot of people in 90 million homes over the next several years this logo and branding will be their first impression of Creighton. They won't be making any comparison to Billy or any of Creighton's other traditions. This new branding is right for all of those important reasons beyond "me".

What really blew me away tonight at the Creighton open house was the new scoreboard. WOW! First it just dwarfs the old one which I thought was huge. Then the resolution. Double Wow! Such clarity from whatever number of millions of pixels they said it is. And the new instant replay board on the south arena wall is big time too. Hope this will be the first of several steps taken to improve upon an already pretty cool product.

And that new freshman center, sorry I haven't got the newbies names all straight yet, he was pretty damn impressive. The guy can dunk with authority and ease. It was just drills but he stood out nonetheless. This whole season in a new conference is going to be like Christmas in the toy store for me. And if the Bluejays do respectable then it will be even better.

Great night- a couple of thoughts. They said that this new scoreboard is the newest and best available today. I believe the only other one like it is at the Barclays for the Brooklyn Nets. Also, I believe the new freshman you saw was our #4 power forward who did look impressive and was heavier than I was expecting (about 6'10"). The center, who is 6"9'' 240 was there early but had night class as did about 6 of the players who didn't participate in the short drill session. I can't wait to see him as he is almost as big as Greg E (last year center) as a freshman. I believe these two freshman will be very good additions for Big East play. I do believe this is great branding for the Big East as we introduce ourselves to the East coast fan base.
