Butler, easily. They'll be lucky to get 5 wins. I'll still be at every game.

I picked Butler, but I have to say that I would not be shocked at all if they pulled out a better finish. (I think they will have serious trouble ending any better than 8th though.)

Last summer, early pre-season polls were calling SHU to finish 7-8th in the old BE assuming Texas transfer Sterling Gibbs was going to get his waiver to play right away. WHen he didn't get it we were dropped to last in the polls because we had no point guard to run the show.

On top of not having a point guard, 7 forwards went down with injuries at the start of the BE season and the team was not able to even hold a practice for the rest of the year. Still we led the league in 3pt percentage and played teams tough until the end of the game when exhaustion set in.

From last years team we lost Aaron Cosby to transfer, but are replacing him with a top 100 guard in Sina and Sterling Gibbs at PG. Asking to make the NCAA this year is a stretch, but I feel we won't be last and will be a very tough out for anyone next year.

Shhh!!! We know people forgot that even w/out a pg to replace theodore we were a potential tourny team last season, that's before the injuries became too much. I'm looking forward to seeing Edwin & Mobley together on the court again.

No way the Pirates finish in the basement! I think a lot of people will underestimate Seton Hall this year because we were so decimated by injuries last year and were forced to play guys out of position. This is fine though because the Pirates usually do well in the underdog role.

It will be either butler, DePaul or seton hall. I think seton hall finishes last. They have nothing on that roster, and their coach has issues.

Bump.

I'm super bored if you couldn't tell, but Omaha1 will you be doing this again for the upcoming season? Looks like it was around this time last year (right after the schedule comes out). I though it was a lot of fun and really gets the basketball discussion going again.

I just noticed that the Valley site started theirs again and I was thinking it was about time. Happy to do it.
