Warrior, where'd you get attendance figures for this season? Something I've been looking for...

Each conference has its own webpage, which has a Men’s Basketball tab, which has a Statistics tab. The Statistics are updated the morning after each game is played, including Average Home Attendance. The Final 2019-20 Big East Attendance figures have been available since March 13, 2020.

Creighton: 15,980 - 8th
Marquette: 15,611 - 9th
Xavier: 10,034
SJU: 9,798
Providence: 9,542
Villanova: 9,053
*Uconn: 8,652
Seton Hall: 8,507
Butler: 8,419
Georgetown: 7,212
DePaul: 3,806

Conference Summary:

Season: 9,999 per game
-5th in division 1. 3rd - 5th are very close, with a huge gap between 5th and 6th.
-Big East had the largest drop in attendance in division 1. But upon closer inspection, it seems like the numbers include NIT/CBI home games, and the conference did send an unusually large number of teams to these tournaments. DePaul alone hosted 5 CBI games.
-Without the fluke number of NIT/CBI games hosted + addition of uconn, BE should be able to challenge the ACC for 3rd.

Conference Tournament: 19,756 per game
-1st. Again, a huge gap between 5th and 6th.

As far as attendance is concerned, it looks like the term "Power 6" isn't accurate, as PAC12 in a strange place between the power conferences and MWC/AAC.

Would really like to see UConn get back up over 10k with the return.

I'm aware of that, I was asking about something including the entire country...don't really want to take the time to go to each individual conference's website.

Also, SHU's numbers are a little skewed by playing their first 2 games in their on campus gym that only seats about 1600 (Prudential Center was unavailable on needed dates). Excluding those games they averaged 11,662.

I use https://stats.ncaa.org/.

Select whichever sport you want, division, year, etc. and attendance is under the misc report tab. Then you can sort by avg. attendance, conference, etc.

Once a season is over, you can look back at yearly summaries here: http://www.ncaa.org/championships/stati ... attendance.

Unless they severely limit XL games, it will happen.

Didn't UConn have something like 0 home conference games on Saturdays this season? Have to think that will change next year. There will also most likely be more opposing fans buying tickets (mostly because you have more schools within driving distance, but partially because BE schools tend to have more invested basketball fans). Add in the excitement of moving conferences and I imagine there won't be too many empty seats at Gampel, let alone XL.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

This is also correct. You're def purposely trying to screw over a flagship basketball program when you give them ZERO home Saturday conference games. Fox and the Big East schedule can't come soon enough. Thank you, brother.

Hmmm...

The present Big East already has a lot of flagship basketball programs. I think the Huskies will have to actually succeed on a regular basis before they can congratulate themselves on being another Big East flagship program. UConn's 2014 run to the NCAA Championship was quite impressive, but that was under the old management and Hall of Fame coach six years ago. Reputations need a top-up every now and then for validation. UConn's is overdue.

UCONN was the AAC's flagship basketball program. The AAC screwed them over with zero Saturday home games this season.

Cool response tho!
