I hate having to play this game this late in the season. Very little to gain, but a loss results in dropping down several spots in the tournament seeding.

All the Big 5 games for Nova are "no-win" situations. Other than saving money on travel, they don't help Nova at all....

Temple has been in the last 6 years a Q1 or 2 team in 4 of the 6 seasons.

Big 5- using the current Quad criteria they've had in the last 7 years 4 Q1 and 5 Q2 games in the Big 5. With only 2017 not having a single Q1 or 2 game(2016 had on the other hand 2 Q1 games).

Local excitement, lots of exposure, and an 'away' game with 30 minutes of travel that 'Nova fans can get tickets to usually (I went to games at Temple, Lasalle, and Penn, the only one which was super difficult to get tickets was St. Joes).

Yes, it is somewhat of an emotional choice...but the Big5 is something special. It might not 100% make logical sense, but I think 90% of Nova fans (including Jay and the team) think the positives outweigh the occasional hit.

Schedule it in December over break or something. Why now?
Nebraska by birth, Creighton by choice.

1. 9 out of 28 is actually pretty pathetic.

2. Q2 does nothing for Nova. And these are true road games vs. teams that are dying to beat us. Jet is correct that it doesn't help Nova whatsoever, especially considering the opportunity cost of 4 games.

when considering what would replace them would be buy type of games 9 of 28 isn't bad. Having over 1 per year. And having 2 road games actually helps the NET rating...

I've been a Gillespie critic, but he's having a monster season. Just gonna have to accept that he isn't Brunson, but he does so many things well.

Not sure if Nova can replicate that 2nd half against a Big East team.

Kudos for admitting that about CG. He’s been tremendous for us. Was in complete control today. I think the big development is JRE hitting all those outside shots. If that could continue...we become a much bigger problem.
