Tues 11/19 BE Game Thread (3 Games).

6pm EST - Vanderbilt at Butler. FS1.
8pm EST - DePaul at Milwaukee.
8:30pm EST - Bucknell at St John's. FS1.

A Butler win would really box in the SEC against us (combined with Xavier's great win vs Tennessee).
Bucknell is a favorite in the Patriot.
Milwaukee is a favorite in the Horizon.

All winnable games against solid teams, with Butler favored by 5, the Johnnies favored by 7.5, and DePaul road dogs by only 1.5 points.
Winning these 3 tonight hopefully will be easy, "like taking candy from a baby..."

Milwaukee is an interesting team this year. They were picked to finish dead last in the Horizon league this year, but their freshmen have proven to be much better than expected. I think their record is somewhat inflated, as they haven't beaten anyone with a record over .500 (though to be fair Davidson has had a ridiculous schedule outside of Milwaukee). This will be Milwaukee's first game at home, where they are not expected to come close to filling up the US Cellular arena (probably in the range of 2-3,000 fans in a 10,000 seat arena). I think DePaul can take this one if they exploit the inexperience of Milwaukee's freshmen. Good luck guys.

Sorry I don't know much about Bucknell or Vanderbilt this year, but good luck to Butler and St. John's. Go get 'em!
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Can't wait for tonight's Butler-Vandy game. I'll be looking at how easy Kellen Dunham gets open, if the 'dawgs struggle getting the ball up the court, how Elijah Brown plays, and if the bigs can establish themselves.

Ok Butler back in this game after being down early at 12-10 with under 12 to go 1st half.

Butler taking control late in the first half. I'm very impressed. I certainly didn't expect this.

Did someone say that Butler would miss Brad Stevens? This looks like the same Butler team that I've been watching for the last 5 or 6 years.

Butler will miss Brad Stevens, but they should still be competitive in seasons to come. This game is looking good so far, except for the "Butler is..." commercial
