Spellman figuring things out. 27 & 8. Kid can shoot it. 45% from 3 so far and gaining confidence. He’s such a unique talent for his size. Brunson is Brunson. Ice cold veins.

If SHU or X or CU or whomever can knock this team off the #1 spot in the BE this year I would be extremely impressed. Gonna be a fun ride.

I was slightly concerned about Nova's outside shooting coming into the season, but we're shooting over 40% so far.

Yeah 5 guys shooting around 40% or better from 3. Take away Paschall’s attempts and this team is blistering from 3.

Very impressive win considering that Booth and Bridges only got 9 points between them. They seem to be able to get their points from anywhere.

only concern is their short bench. seems to be the theme every year for Nova. I do like the fact Jay is playing freshmen more this year. this team is about March and that's what Jay should focus on. DCR is giving them good min off the bench already. need CG and Samuels to get better as season goes on.

What a humiliating beatdown for the AAC.

or maybe Villanova is just good. When Nova is like 16-2 and 29-2, it's not exactly going to be humiliating by any stretch.

Obviously the Big 5 isn't what it used to be. Nova can sleepwalk thru those games. Nothing but cupcakes these days. C'mon conference slate. Live by the 3, die by the 3.

Git' as a Jays fan are you really going to trod out the line about "living or dying by the 3?' You guys average 2 more 3 pt attempts than us per game. The difference is we are shooting them at a higher %. Take Paschall's attempts away (as he tried the first 5 games to be a 3 pt shooter for some reason, but has now abandoned that strategy) and the Cats are shooting 3's at 44% as a team. I'll take an eFG% of 66% any day.

Nova takes 42.4% of their shots as 3's. That's good for only 72nd in the country right now. So hardly a team like Marquette who truly does live/die by the 3(49.4%- #8 in the country).
