I was very curious to see how Marquette would look on opening night of conference play. They had a 10-2 record coming in, but an RPI of 150+ and a SOS of 300+. Their best win was a neutral court win over Arizona State.

I'm not trying to rip on Marquette, but it will be interesting to see how they bounce back from this going forward.

I have been bullish in the hall this yr. I think they are a tourney team. The kids know how to play together.

I still think whitehead takes too many long jump shots off balance off the dribble, but that's what he does and don't see that changing.

Next two years seton hall could be very good.

Ugh. "The best thing about freshmen is they become sophomores." ~Al McGuire
Al McGuire: "What is this?"
Waiter: "Mr. McGuire, that is a cull lobster. Sometimes when the lobsters are in the tank, they fight. This one lost a claw."
Al McGuire: "Well then take this one away and bring me the winner."

I was out of town and didn't get a chance to watch the game until today. Great win, Hall. Better team won last night.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

Fair point on Ellenson, but Cheatham, Carter, Anim, and Heldt are all freshman as well. We have an outside shot at getting a second year with Henry too (*crosses fingers*).
