You must've meant will Willard get canned, if Seton Hall misses the tournament.

Whoops, yea, Willard. Unless he decides to delegate coaching duties to Whitehead.

One would think Willard will be gone if Seton Hall misses the tournament again, but who really knows. He has the safety net of having essentially hired his own boss and the attitude of Seton Hall, at least publicly, is that they are committed to Willard and willing to give him time. The goal in hiring him was to stop the 4 year revolving door of coaching changes and get a young coach who will be around for a while and build a program with long term goals in mind.

While I do agree with that mindset (especially considering Seton Hall can't compete financially for established high major coaches), last year's collapse really made me doubt whether he's capable of achieving these long term goals. Pressure from fans and alumni is mounting rapidly as well, as the majority (or at least vocal majority) of posters on the SHU boards want him fired yesterday (months ago, really).

Both Whitehead and Delgado are hoping to jump to the NBA after next season too, so if they both leave AND the Pirates miss the dance...pretty much worst case scenario.
