It won't be an RPI disaster per se. Clemson is so bad that they will lard your schedule strength with losses and will wind up with a crappy RPI themselves, so risking a Gardner Webb at least means they could possibly do well in-conference and pitch in a little bit. LSU will be .500 or worse as well, so getting Illinois State or ODU would be better for you than they would, since each will likely wind up with a better record. The Valley is so bad I see the Redbirds going 13-5 or better in conference.

There were no good wins to be had in this tournament - unless one turned out to be you guys! The math is better this way, assuming you win, which you should.

Besides, let the bottom half of the bracket with a few F5 schools beat each other up and tag themselves even worse.

X wins 81-63. Closed on 15-2 run. Stainbrook has taken 22 shots this year - made 19.

FLorida got Chris Walker back from suspension, but lost Eli Carter to Injury prior to the game. Looks like Carter will likely miss the Georgetown game. They're still with our Finney-Smith too from his wrist fracture earlier in the season although now it sounds like he might be missing time due to academics. So Florida will likely be short handed vs. Georgetown. Game becomes a must win now.

No one on the selection committee will remember Florida being shorthanded in March.
