Strange. Court storming and the players and coach act like they beat a #1 team? They need to start acting like they've been here before. Just another day in the office.
In all fairness though, creighton played a hell of a game and deserve to celebrate. Start acting like a big shot and act like games like this are common place well then it's going to hurt bad when they start losing to teams they're not suppose to lose too.
They came back from 17 to win the game at home in front of a packed house against a ranked opponent. If that doesn't get your blood pumping then theres something wrong with you.
Again. You should probably read this thread from beginning. I was directing that sarcasm at chicagojayfan and ljay about not being so uptight about fans and players celebrating a well deserved victory. This board needs a sarcasm font.
Also, I was a bit intoxicated last night.

A number of you root for teams that that haven't been truly relevant as great college basketball programs for over a decade. And yet you criticize the fans of one of the "New 3" for showing their happiness and pride in celebrating a win over a highly rated P-5 team when their own team was picked to finish 9th in the pre-season Big East Poll.
Why do you think Butler, Creighton, and Xavier were selected to bring this Conference to 10? It sure as hell wasn't to shine the shoes of, and pay homage at the shrines of, the C-7. Two of those three teams finished as high or higher than all but one of the C-7 in their very first year in the Conference. The other was just a couple of years away from having reached the Final Four twice. Instead of being critical of the fans of Creighton (who happen to attend their team's games at twice the numbers as most of your fans), you who are critical of their love and support of the Jays should take a look in the mirror and find there someone who has no right to exact such criticism.
In retrospect, perhaps you are being critical because you have forgotten how elated fans can get upon realizing true on-court success by your favorite Big East team. For that, we Butler, Creighton, and Xavier fans feel for your years of misery.
I guess this post will qualify me to occupy a place in the "douch bag" gallery! I don't care --- it needed to be said.

Big win, fun crowd, and a bunch of ninnies posting on HLOH.
who give a crap about court storming or etiquette or degrees of sarcasm?
IMO, Big East teams and fanbases should expect to compete and play with the best. We should all expect to beat ranked teams a good chunk of the time...hell we should all expect to be in the Top 25 fairly regularly.
To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect last night and feared that the entire game was going to be the 1st half. Our coach and players wouldn't let it go down like that. I need to adjust my expectations.
We need all 10 schools to pick it up and win big OOC games every year and win big games in March.
F the Football 5ers. We are the Big East. I believe. Now go f'ing win.......all of you.

On TV, it was plain of day that nobody other than the cheerleaders and the Blue Jay storm the court.
