On the bigger plus side, this could mean to the end of the Lavin regime. In the long run this is better for the program. In terms of Briscoe, he would have been a one and done player that would have just prolonged the inevitable, Lavins exit. We all knew that Lavin was a bad coach and a BS artist but recruiting started to go South 2 years ago but the dopes on web sites argued otherwise. What was that all too familiar quote " if there's one thing you can't say against Lavin it's his recruiting", well now it's official, his recruiting SUCKS as well. So now with limited talent we better get a coach in here that CAN coach.
In closing let me repeat again what I have been saying for the last two years...."Lavin will leave this program in far worse shape then he found it". Can anyone really argue that point now?
