I don't think there has been a thread for this yet so I'll go ahead and ask. Are there any freshmen who still haven't been cleared yet? I thought I saw Bentil still wasn't for Providence.

All of Xavier's players have thankfully cleared already without any concern, which is nice and hasn't always been a given in recent history.

Right, for PC, Bentil is the only freshman not cleared yet.
(Lindsey is recovering from mono).

We haven't heard specifically, but We just had media members at Practice, so I assume if there was any concern of anyone not being qualified it would have surfaced then.

Somebody years ago from the PC athletic department apparently banged the wife of the guy who runs the Clearinghouse so I'm not expecting a good result on Bentil.

The NCAA cleared Ben Bentil... repeat, Bentil is good to go... can't believe it... story in Providence Journal by Kevin McNamara... Amen.

In other Friar news, Jalen Lindsey dislocated one of his fingers... he will miss several weeks... not sure on the timing exactly...

Great news on Bentil. Lindsey is out 1-2 weeks. Will miss scrimmage against Harvard probably.

Michael Nezi is a partial qualifier for SHU waiting to hear for a waiver but apparently it is doubtful. Not the biggest loss and evens up the classes plus theres the logjam at the position. Its a situation like Bentill, getting documentation about schooling in Africa. Its a shame though because talk is that he is one of the best scholars on the team and aced his SATs
