Is there a first half and second half comparison? Because I felt second half he was a lot better. Doing things like penetrating with ease whereas he was originally very timid about it. Had he played first half (against the weaker teams) closer to how he played second half he would have ran away with RotY. He almost got it too even after a slow start.

The best part about his game was his defense. His season stats tell a misleading story. Hes play really came around during conference time.

Either Stainbrook (great big inside presence who can score), Arcidiacono (Crazy clutch, can shoot lights out), or Smith Rivera (Lethal shooter, long frame).

I can't remember the last time St. John's had a truly great shooter.

with regards to Jordan and his efficiency you have to consider 1) that he was a freshman and obviously would be improved as a sophomore. 2) You have to consider the system he played in. A lot of his inefficiency is becasue of Lavin and his crappy offensive system or lack thereof. Under another coach I bet he'd be a lot more efficient.

If Jordan played for Cuse, Boeheim would make him into a lottery pick. He has so much talent and he's still doing a good job but no doubt he will never realize his full potential with Lavin unfortunately. Our offense has been so bad for so long I'm really getting sick of it. Our defense is actually decent enough to be respectable, but we can't score to save our lives. I still think we are 1 legit inside scoring presence and 1 legit pure shooter away from making a tourney run and possibly cracking the top 25. I have come to terms with the fact that seeing SJ in the top 25 in 2011 may be the last time for at least a decade if not longer that SJ will ever be ranked again.
