College basketball is so wacky. I could not see the Jays being able to beat Baylor even with their A+ game but I could against Wisconsin. Maybe I'm delusional.

Everything is so matchup dependent...I could see Creighton blowing out Wisconsin. Stanford gets run by Dayton after beating Kansas.

Wisky would have definitely been a better matchup for Creighton, it was last year, but we did beat them on a neutral court in Vegas.

With Virginia's loss tonight, a really weird streak continues:
In the last 10 years, no team other than Duke and UNC has made the Elite-8 coming out of the ACC.
Since 1996, 18 years, only Duke, UNC, Georgia Tech and Maryland have made the Elite-8 coming out of the ACC.

That just blows my mind. For all the press and praise the ACC constantly gets... it has been a 2-team league...

Boston College, Virginia Tech, Clemson, NC State, Maryland, Florida State, Virginia, Miami (Fla), Wake Forest and Georgia Tech:
none of these 10 schools have made the Final-8 over the past 10 NCAA tournaments. Incredible.

Big Ten with three teams among the Elite 8. Pretty impressive.

Happy that Dayton lost just so every thread on this board will no longer devolve into UD fans telling everyone why they should be in the Big a East.

The big thing tomorrow is will the Big Ten match what we did 29 years ago sending 3 teams to the final 4? to me, this year is the biggest threat since then- and maybe the toughest test Wisconsin passed this evening. Michigan St and Michigan both are the higher seeds in their games tomorrow.

Ironically, UConn could be the team that doesn't let this happen.

My post history would indicate a certain level of decorum. No name calling, stone throwing etc. Same for the rest of the SLU fans here which is completely opposite of pretty much every UD fan.
