you are thinking with your heart and not your head. Right now by most folks, Providence is the last team or two in the tourney(if they are in there at all). If they lose, and Seton Hall wins the tourney, who is going to get replaced? Providence.

The only difference would be Seton Hall would be in the field of 64 while Providence would have to go in the PIG route.

Its crazy how much can change in a couple days. Going into the tournament the Big East best case scenario would have been 6:
GTown beats Depaul and Creighton they are in.
X beats MQ they are in.
SH wins the tourny they are in.
PC beats Sj likely 6th.

Worst case would have been 2:
X loses to MQ. PC loses to SJ. SJ loses to NOVA. This would have been really bad.

I think 4 is a good number for year 1. NOVA, Creigh, and X are locks. Hopefully PC is already in regardless of today.
