I was lucky to see him play live in both college and the NBA (PC vs. Georgetown, Sixers vs. Celtics).

Very exciting player.

The Iverson vs. Shammgod matchup I saw had some serious quickness on the court.

Iverson could make six figures a year (or close to it) doing nothing but signing his name. Though I doubt that's the sort of coin you want when you spent 15+years with bazillions.

I know ESPN had a top beasts of the BE show a few years ago and I believe AI was number 5, which is great considering he played 2 years. Nobody could guard him and he would go 1on 4 to the basket against the best BE bigs and hit the shot with consistency. But for me, having Ray Allen make that shot over him and the AI missing that foul line shot that would have won the BE tourn. Unless we have WW3 and all recording are destroyed, that will be the highlight played for eternity.

As a Creighton fan, I have always appreciated that Iverson accepted Korver onto the 76ers and embraced his contribution to the team. I believe he called Korver his assassin for Korvers ability to knock down threes if a defender collapsed off of Korver to help out on Iverson. With AI's personality and clout with the 76ers during Korver's time there - particularly Korver's rookie season, I think he could have made it difficult for Korver's career to gain traction had he chosen to do so.

I remember hearing stories that Iverson/Korver would challenge a shooting team from other NBA teams during shoot-arounds. Iverson would gamble big money on him and Kyle.
