I'd say this- if JT3 had any other last name, he would be on a pretty warm seat going into next season. Past 6 years- 2 missed tournaments including this year, 3 others where 1 and done in the NCAA tourney. Only tourney win in those 6 years- vs Belmont. If anyone else had that- next year would be a make or break type of year.

Although I agree with the general sentiment about them, I sure wouldn't rule them out. They have too much talent to simply be dismissed.

They've been more of a Jekyll and Hyde team. Even after they lost, Smith they ended a 5 game losing streak by beating the #7 team in the country to start a new 4 game winning streak. They're hard to predict.

It'd take 3/4 quite frankly. 17-13 entering the BET just won't cut it. And yes that would even be if they beat both Creighton and Nova.

At some point, the record just becomes too bad. It's not like old committee where 16-14 team one time made the tourney. Those days are long gone.
