this is what I meant...that the lanes are red and the floor is used specifically for St. John's, like what Marquette does.

I've never understood how Georgetown and Marquette, despite sharing their arenas with NBA teams have their own floors (and frequently share dates with their NBA teams), but arena staff at the Garden for whatever, reason, don't do a complete changeover. I suppose even Seton Hall that one year the Nets played at Prudential, and Wells Fargo as well but they obviously have fewer Villanova dates so it's probably not worth it to invest in an entire floor.
Al McGuire: "What is this?"
Waiter: "Mr. McGuire, that is a cull lobster. Sometimes when the lobsters are in the tank, they fight. This one lost a claw."
Al McGuire: "Well then take this one away and bring me the winner."

The BC really needs us. We draw better than the Bucks, provide a decent number of events, and drink more in one night in the student section alone than probably just about any other event. The BC is very interested in keeping us happy. A Georgetown alum owns their arena, and they play all of their home games there. A lot more inventory than St. John's provides for MSG, and a lot less competition from other events.
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
