So...Seton Hall isn't making a huge run in the 2nd half of the season, I assume?

I feel in every Big East game, if you just took the points, you'd be making a lot of money this season.

Another great BE game comes down to the last minute. Must've had a dozen lead changes. Woods on Butler is immense on the boards. I thought it would go to OT.

Fans have been asking for Chrab to start. He did and he had a great game. How did the northeast schools miss on this guy (he's from RI)? He's a true Indiana-style player who is tough as nails, always in the right place at the right time, and knows his role.

Good comment. I bet he'd look okay in bib overalls sitting on a tractor!! :D

Announced attendance 5,826. Padded or not, a weak crowd. Not impressed with some Big East fan support.

Good team win for Butler last night. A few things:

1. Chrabascz really got things going early yesterday, then got a little bit outside himself in the 2nd half and forced a couple of shots, but by the end of the game he was back to being in the right place at the right time. He's not going to be a great (or even pretty good) post defender, as most of the guys from Butler aren't simply because of the size differential, but I think with some serious work in the offseasons, Chrabs can probably put on another 10-15 pounds of muscle without severely limiting his mobility.

2. Have to give a lot of credit to both the coaching staff and the team for staying together during this tough stretch during the first half of Big East play. Despite the struggles, this team appears to really like one another. Fromm handled coming off the bench like a true teammate, and got some key offensive rebounds in the first half.

3. Brown has really been improving during Big East play with his decision-making and effort on the defensive end. He still loses his guy from time to time, but he's definitely been improving and is looking for his teammates more offensively, which has really helped the flow.

4. Woods was huge down the stretch. Rebounding, defending Gibbs and hitting a couple of clutch free throws with the team up 2 in the last minute or so.

Teague and Mobley really called out their teammates after the game. Could be a good thing for Seton Hall, or might be a bad thing. If Whitehead isn't a "team-first" kind of guy next season, then these potential chemistry issues might pop up again.

You left off my Player of the Game, Barlow. He went the full 40 at Point, only 1 Turn Over, and 3 Assists. He played solid defense, and had to be dog tired at the end.

Agreed was another good game by teams at the "bottom" of the league. That wasn't always the case in the oBE.
