Just a great young man, and I hope that his MRI results are better than what we fear.

Also just heard that Grant Gibbs hasa dislocated knee cap and is out for 4 weeks. Thank God, and let's hope for a speedy recovery.

4 weeks would be 6 games. Xavier, Butler, @ Providence, @ Villanova, Georgetown, and St John's. DePaul is next game after that(on Feb 7)

Here's the latest with a bit on the injury and the Nova game. Pretty cool to have one of our guys doing this.

great column....

Creighton has done well with Gibbs out. 3-1. If they can get the Hoya's and St John's wins- 5-1- realistically as good as possible.

And seeing Jeff Goodman saying likely 2 more weeks- meaning that it'll be towards the early side of the 4-6 weeks that was said when it happened. 1 good thing to me is they'll be able to somewhat ease him back into things with 1st games back being DePaul, St John's, and Butler(though SJ and Butler on the road). But, back in time for the real tough last 6 game stretch(home Villanova, @ Marquette, Seton Hall, @ Xavier, @ Georgetown, and Providence(I feel bad for PC that night senior night).
