Maybe it doesn't come through in pictures or tv but I don't get the draw of Rupp. Outside it looks like a warehouse inside seems like a cookie cutter arena.

I'd kind of think just the history in that arena quite frankly.

Of course us old school big east fans love that arena(well, except for that perfect game that was thrown against us that April Fools night back in '85!)

This listing just came out last week, and it put CenturyLink Center in Omaha as the #4 college basketball venue. Hinkle and the Bradley Center also cracked the top ten.

We certainly added 3 programs with great arenas, and I like that many of the other 7 play in larger nba arenas on the east coast.

It is. It's gray and dull on the inside with no real charm. However, during a Kentucky home game, I can imagine the atmosphere improves quite a bit.

I'm all for history, and have been to my share of historic venues...but UVA's John Paul Jones arena is probably the best venue I've been to (anyone ever actually watched a game at Cameron Indoor? Great atmosphere...if you're 5'5). I'm a VCU fan, so can't stand the Cavaliers, but after my trip there this season if my school had to build an arena like any other I've been to it would be that one. Modern arena built somewhat in the style of their campus, but just the bells in whistles inside are incredible.

When the Garden is packed it's amazing. The SJ V. Cuse game was electric. If we won that game you got the sense the place would have exploded. The renovations are gorgeous too. Too bad we can't get a big win there...Nova is our last chance.

yeah I was there a few years ago for a women's game with Tennessee and UVA- and it was incredible.
