I went to watch Paschal Chukwu play this past Saturday when Fairfield Prep played Hillhouse. Chukwu finished the game with 15 points, 12 rebounds and 7 blocks. My story on him is now up on FriarBasketball.com
God, that would be the worst... Didn't mean to insinuate something bad happened, but I guess it makes sense with how things are going for the Friars currently.
Prep and Hillhouse are the two best teams in Connecticut again this year, IMO. I would imagine they play three more times this year, one more time in regular season plus the league and state championship games.
Still not overly pleased with Fairfield Prep Coach Leo Redgate (Xavier '90) not getting Paschal to X !!
I too thought it was bad news... Great piece and happy to see something encouraging at PC for a change... Now if we can get him to show up and be available to play the first game of the 2014/2015 fall schedule... Who was feeding him the ball? Ed not for nothing but who was feeding him the ball? We do need someone to feed him the ball right?
Have seen Paschal play plenty, familiar with the Fairfield Prep program. Chukwu is more developed than Hasheem Thabeet was his first year at UConn (and I believe he was a year ahead of the typical freshman age-wise). His game reminds me more of the ex-Michigan/Baylor player and now NBA player Ekpe Udoh.
