Marquette is in the range of where they were projected to be in the preseason. They've had a tough schedule and now gets to massage their record for a couple of weeks. 3rd place is still very much up for grabs between Marquette, Uconn, Hall, Xavier, and Providence.

Yeah it's a weak team compared to the Marquette that I watched when I was in school. All of wojos teams have been weak, bipolar, and at best average on defense. He's been within a game of .500 in the Big East all but one year which is pathetic for a program of MU's prestige. I've broken down the slight recruiting uptick but he hasn't held onto most those guys anyways so we watch those recruits play their best ball elsewhere. Bottom line is Wojo is a slightly above average coach that has bitten off more than he can chew. Despite a few great wins he's also bottomed out twice in a row, choked a against Depaul twice that likely kept us out of the tournament in 18 and 16, he just isn't the Marquette standard.

I'm with MU boxer. Wojo doesn't even come close to Buzz or Crean. Can he please go find a better job in the ACC or something.

Wojo has not earned the benefit of the doubt. This team is scary, but still I have faith that he will find a way to a first weekend exit in the tournament.
