The Creighton beat writer for the local newsrag has been "furloughed"? Temporary or permanent? "Furloughed" may be a Nebraska euphemism for "fired, laid off, right-sized". If he is gone, it looked dismal

Cmon git... like many other writers around the country, he was furloughed which means a couple weeks away from work unpaid.
