I can understand the reluctance to scrap it completely because they've done it before. But yeah, they should downgrade it to Georgetown/Butler level.
Why? Villanova FCS football has been quiet successful in the past. I follow CAA Football. It would be a shame for Villanova to drop football.

Because they lose a lot of money on it from what I understand and I don’t get the impression it has a rabid following
