Obviously there is not much baseball discussion here, but the 2021 season could come to a pretty dramatic finish today. Seton Hall versus UConn. If the Huskies win, they claim the Big East title by percentage points. If they lose, and Creighton defeats Xavier today, the Bluejays claim the Big East title.

Opening game of the 2021 Big East baseball tournament was bonkers. Seton Hall scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to take a 7-4 lead over Creighton. The Jays rallied and scored four in the bottom of the ninth to walk off an 8-7 victory.

Yeah, crazy meltdown by the SHU bullpen there. With a 3-run lead in the bottom of the 9th, walking 1 guy is a cardinal sin. SHU's closer walks the first 3, without coming particularly close to the strike zone. Talk about giving a game away. I believe the Jays had two 4-run innings in that game, both of which were on the back of 3 walks.
