Hey guys,
Your 2017 Providence Friars men's ice hockey team qualified for their 4th consecutive NCAA tournament. The NCAA teams are decided on via a computer formula named Pairwise... so there are no obvious biases in determining the NCAA participants... every team knows where they stand by looking at the Pairwise standings. 16 teams make the tourney.

Anyway, the Friars luckily have been placed in the Providence bracket, and on Friday at 4pm they take on Harvard in the regional semi's. Single elimination. Two years ago en route to our National Championship, the 2015 Friars also played the Regionals at the Dunk.

If PC beats the Crimson, they will face the winner of Western Michigan and Air Force. After that, they would play in the Frozen Four in Cincinnati.

Providence ran into a hot Harvard goalie and fell to the Crimson on Friday night. Great season.
