Just for those curious, Pat Venditte, Creighton alum who can pitch both right and left handed was called up today by Oakland.

Creighton alums Ty Blach (Giants) and Darin Ruf (Phillies) getting called up to the majors tomorrow to join Pat Venditte (Mariners).

Ty Blach just pitched a shutout and got 2 hits in a win against Klayton Kershaw and the Dodgers in a huge wild card game. Also, Darin Ruf hit a PH HR.
